Harvest is in full swing around these parts, thank you to our farmers!

We have been sold out of the rocker, we lovinginly call "the best seat in the house", for a while now, so this shipment was super exciting to get back on the floor. We dressed them up with different fabrics, but the comfort is all the same. These are smooth rocking, "hug you" kind of feeling rockers. I love ours for reading, and watching tv on these soon to be chilly fall and winter evenings. These are built with quality components, and in 24 years of carrying them we have never had a warranty claim on a rocker. And we have customers who say - you won't remember that rocker we bought way back when...but we still love it! And I'm here to say we love them too!

Our dining tables are looking pretty spiffy in store right now, all decked out for fall! Changing up a centerpiece lantern or tray with a few items can really pull your island, table, or coffee table into the next season easily and effectively!

And on a side note, those big acorns? Those are lanterns, the top comes right off and you can put your favourite candle rings and candles inside, and it's such a pretty glow. These are great for fall, Christmas and the cabin! So fun!

We just received the most beautiful barnwood dining table. We love our reclaimed furniture like no other, and the supply of wood is starting to run out. The wood used to build this line was milled prior to 1909, you can tell because of the unique tooling marks in the wood, that changed when the tools changed in 1910. Mother Nature has also left her stamp on this furniture, weathering, nail holes, wear and tear from its life as barn makes each board unique. This furniture is built to last another 100 years in its second life, just a quick glance at the base tells you this table is built to last. Everything is sealed with a finish that you can spill nail polish remover on and not damage the finish, which is incredible!

Fall is coming fast, and our fall decor selection has been dwindling even faster! So today we got some restocks of your favourites and some fun new fall prints too!

As the days turn cooler and our flowers start to fade, I thought these were pretty good alternatives! We've got so many beautiful, realistic florals, the only thing missing was the scent. I was totally excited when I first tested these, they've done an awesome job and smell so great! Simply spritz your floral and enjoy!

We are open today, Labour Day from 11-4. We have so much new decor in, including that vases, fall florals and I'm loving these new mango wood lanterns. They are super skinny, so they'll fit on narrow shelves and in tight spots. The colour is just right too!

I really am hesitant to post these photos...because they don't do this beautiful artwork justice, you'll have to come and see them to see what I mean. They are GORGEOUS. The colours are vibrant and the frames are beautifully crafted. And some of the scenes are right from our own backyard. More in store.
