After a long hiatus Ive picked up my needles and have some fun new things coming your way soon!
Thank you for your patience as I explore this new territory as a mom. Im still focusing highly on soaking up all the snuggles and contact naps I can get, but now that baby is 5 months old Im feeling a little more human and get a little time to myself in the evenings when he goes to sleep.
Stay tuned for whats next!
But dont stay too closely tuned, because I still struggle with posting regularly.

Hello! Huge update over here!
We will no longer be keeping track of our 1000 toques sold. From now on, every year we will be donating directly to someone's IVF fundraiser on Gofundme.
$3 from every toque sale will be set aside until Nov.30th. Then during the first week of December we will be on the hunt for a deserving couple, or individual, to help with their dreams of becoming a parent.
We have done so much research on different grants within Canada, and have not been able to connect with any of them. So it only feels right to help sorry folks who did things the same way I did, crowd sourcing.
So, keep on buying those toques!
So far for 2026 we are at $18 raised for a deserving family.

This week is national infertility awareness week.
You may have noticed ive been a little quiet around here lately. And some of you know, some of you dont.. but we had our little miracle baby on Feb. 7th. Im bringing this up now because for 10 years we tried and prayed and tried again. I have PCOS and that was generally considered to have been the root cause of our infertility. For the first little bit I didnt share much beyond venting to my best friend. However as those 10 years went on I realized- we cannot stay silent. We cannot suffer through this alone. The strain infertility puts on a couple is wild - emotional, physical, financial and for some spiritual. I spent my whole pregnancy scared that this wasnt really happening. The first and second trimester I took a pregnancy test weekly. It wasnt until i felt the baby moving that I felt more secure. Since our little man has arrived everything has felt like a dream. If im being honest, more often than not it still doesnt feel real.
I guess the whol point of this post is, talk- talk through your struggles. Share your thoughts as youre going through this journey. I promise you, you are not alone. There are so many people walking similar paths. No one deserves to feel the pain of infertility. If you have no one else to reach out to, my inbox is always open.
