Spring Bloom Cakes

“Growth doesn’t always look impressive while it’s happening.”
Ralph Lauren inspired cake with a whole lot of nostalgia! From the tartan and leather details to the rocking horse, equestrian print and teddy bear, this one was all about creating that classic, timeless look.

“Some chapters are slow, but they still move the story forward”
This cake was designed for someone who loves soccer, lion, black and gold, and of course, Coca-Cola. I loved bringing all of the favourite things together into one cake and adding all those little details to make it personal.

“One day, the things you’re working hard for will simply be your normal.”
Black, gold, a little bit of chaos and A LOT of handmade details🖤
One of those cakes where I kept adding details and somehow it just kept getting better!

“Make today count, even if it’s just one small step.”
This cake was extra special to make because I know this beautiful lady personally. ❤️

She’s a wonderful mom and grandma who is so caring and absolutely loves her family. Her grandkids wanted to surprise her for her 80th birthday, and they wanted the cake to reflect something she loves doing so much, cooking for her family.

“You don’t need to see the whole path. Just take the next step.”
One of those cakes where I just kept adding little details until everything came together.

“Trust the process, even when no one sees the work behind it.”
A little different from my usual floral cakes, but I absolutely loved creating this one! 🤍
I wanted this cake to look like a collection of vintage candles stacked together, so I kept everything in an ivory palette and focused on texture. From the dripping wax and raised patterns to the pearl strands and sugar textured details, there was definitely a lot of work hiding in all that “simple” ivory cake
And of course, the tiny glowing candle lights brought the whole design to life. 🕯️

“Keep putting your heart into it. The right people will notice.”
Creating this cake felt a little like painting on a canvas… except the canvas was buttercream 💙🩷
