At Kitchen Capable, we teach the general basics of cooking and baking. Come explore seasonal eating and nutrition along with food related safety.
At Kitchen Capable lessons are upbeat, relaxed and well-supervised. Along with food-related safety, we teach the general basics of cooking/baking and explore seasonal eating and nutrition. Our two hour weekly classes for children are arranged in six week sessions. Later sessions extend earlier lessons and introduce new recipes. We look for foods that are “good for you” AND scrumptious too. Our students discover easy recipes, have fun making a variety of basic dishes, and learn delicious, inexpensive ways to prepare foods. We teach kitchen skills so that each student becomes equipped to safely and successfully prepare a variety of main course dishes, salads and desserts. At every lesson your child will be helped to create a dish that serves 4 to bring home for the freezer or evening meal.

Our first Cooking and Baking sessions ended with pizza and popcorn pumpkins! We welcome some newcomers and some returning students to a new set of sessions already underway! Thanks to a very supportive group of parents and all our cheerful, willing to learn and to help out student cooks/bakers! You make our business FUN!
