Why Learn2Ride? 🏍️

Between the two of us, we bring nearly 40 years of motorcycle training experience, with over a decade teaching together and thousands of riders trained along the way.

When we started Learn2Ride, we wanted to get back to our roots and focus on what we believe great motorcycle training should be:

For us, it’s never just about helping someone pass a test. It’s about building safe, skilled and confident riders.

Another great weekend on the lot! Beautiful weather, a fantastic group, and plenty of riding. ☀️🏍️

Everyone comes into an M2 course with a different level of experience and confidence, and that’s exactly why we’re here. Our job is to meet each rider where they’re at, fine-tune their skills, introduce new techniques, and help them become safer, more confident riders.

With our smaller class sizes, we’re able to spend more time with each student, provide individual coaching when needed, and most importantly, maximize their seat time. There’s no substitute for actually being on the motorcycle, practicing the skills, and putting it all together.

By the end of the weekend, this group did exactly that. It was great watching the progress from the first exercise to the final evaluation. 👏

Congratulations to everyone on successfully completing the course and earning your M2! Now the real learning begins. Keep practicing, keep building those skills, and most importantly, ride smart and ride safe. 🏍️

Just because it’s August doesn’t mean it’s time to park the bike.

We still have weeks of great riding weather ahead, making now the perfect time to earn your motorcycle licence or upgrade before the season ends. Every weekend you wait is one less weekend you’ll get to enjoy on two wheels.

Our MTO-approved M2 and M courses are designed for riders of all experience levels, with small class sizes, experienced instructors, and plenty of seat time to help you build real confidence.

🚨 Motorcycle Licensing Tip! 🏍️

One of the biggest misconceptions we hear is:

“I have to wait 60 days after getting my M1 before I can take my M2 course.”

❌ Not true!

You can write your M1 and book the next available M2 course right away. The Ministry requires you to wait 60 days before you’re eligible to upgrade to your M2, but you don’t have to wait 60 days to take the course.

Booking early gives you the best chance of getting the date you want. 👍

🏍️ Going for your Full M?

You’re eligible to upgrade to your Full M 18 months after earning your M2 (or 22 months if you didn’t complete an approved course), but don’t wait until your licence is about to expire.

Every year we see riders leave it until the last minute. Courses fill up, weather happens, and unexpected situations come up. If your licence expires, you could end up starting the licensing process all over again.

To all of the volunteers, organizers, staff, sponsors, and everyone working behind the scenes, thank you for the countless hours of planning and hard work that make this event possible year after year.

As a locally owned and operated motorcycle training school, we truly appreciate the support from our community. It was a pleasure meeting so many riders and future riders throughout the weekend.
