Here’s a look at Cohorts 90 & 91 at the Construct Training Centre! 🏠🛠️

Participants are taking their house frames to the next stage by learning how to cut and install metal siding. They measured and cut the siding to fit the structure, then secured the pieces to the frame, building hands-on experience with materials, tools, and installation techniques used in construction.

This practical project strengthens participants’ precision, problem-solving, and confidence as they see their structures come together.

Here’s a look at Cohorts 90 & 91 at Humber College! 🪚🛠️

Participants are putting their skills to work by building benches and shelves. They measured and cut wood beams to create the bench frames, drilled the pieces together, and then sanded their projects to create a smooth, finished surface. 🪑

They also drilled plywood to build a unique, modern shelf design. Through these hands-on projects, participants strengthen their precision, tool skills, attention to detail, and confidence while creating something from the ground up.

Here’s a look at Cohort 89 taking on the Marshmallow Challenge! 🍡🏗️

Working in teams, participants were challenged to build the tallest freestanding tower possible using only spaghetti and marshmallows. With limited materials and time, they had to plan, test their ideas, communicate, and work together to create a structure that could stand on its own.

This fun hands-on challenge is a great way to build problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills that are valuable on the job site and in the skilled trades.

🎓 87% successful graduation rate!

In 2025, 87% of Construct participants successfully graduated from the program, completing hands-on training and building the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to take the next step toward a career in the skilled trades. 🔨
