CMHA Simcoe County Branch was honoured to be part of the inaugural Tournament of Hope, held in memory of Destiny Ali.

It was more than a weekend of ball hockey. It was a chance to remember Destiny, bring people together and help create hope for others in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to the South Simcoe Ball Hockey Leagues and to everyone who participated, volunteered and supported this meaningful weekend.

We are grateful to have been part of something so special.

Looking for a meaningful way to give back?

CMHA SCB is looking for volunteers to help support clients in Barrie and Orillia.

Barrie – Direct Client Support
We’re looking for volunteers who enjoy connecting one-on-one with people and can help with:
• Arts and crafts at our CMHA SCB office
• In-home meal preparation (training provided)
• Weekday availability between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Orillia – Reception Support
Be a friendly face for clients visiting our office by:
• Greeting clients when they arrive
• Letting staff know clients are here for their appointments
• Available Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays between 8:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.
