Ontario Envirothon
The Ontario Envirothon is part of the larger Envirothon network that engages youth to learn more about the natural world around them.
Ontario Envirothon is a unique environmentally-themed academic competition that immerses high school students in hands-on learning, discovery and career exploration. This is achieved through curriculum resources, interactive workshops, and competitive testing. The Ontario Envirothon started in 1994 with only a few teams, and has has grown to include more than 10,000 alumni. The competition challenges high school students to get outdoors and learn about our natural resources hands on, in a fun and competitive atmosphere. With events taking place in communities across the province, there are lots of ways you can get involved! The Ontario Envirothon is a program of Forests Ontario - the voice for Ontario's forests.
