The provision of individualized coaching and direct consultation are two of our primary focuses.
Integrated Autism Consulting provides skilled, evidence and solution-based services for families, professionals and autistic individuals across the lifespan and spectrum. Our Services focus on:
Advocacy
Working towards ensuring that each person has provision for the most appropriate supports and services for their abilities, needs and learning styles. Education & Training
We provide education and training for individuals, families and professionals on a wide variety of topics related to Autism Spectrum Disorders. Asperger Syndrome
We are responding to the increasing needs of young adults with Asperger Syndrome transitioning from the secondary school setting into independent living. We also run The Spectrum Connection: a group of young adults with Asperger Syndrome, aged 18-28, who get together monthly for a social outing. Activities are chosen and sometimes organized by group members. Our Work includes:
• Workshops
• Coaching
Development and delivery of:
•In-service training for principals, teachers, educational assistants, and regional special education staff within school boards
• In-service training for parents and community members
Development of:
• in-service training for college instructors and support staff
• In-service training for individuals with Asperger Syndrome
Education Consultation:
• Assessment of current skills
• IEP development and support
• Transition from Secondary School to Life
Planning and Support:
• Executive Functioning Support
• Anxiety Reduction Strategies
• Employment Support (Volunteer, Self, Competitive)
• Independent Living Support
• Social Understanding Training
• Healthy Relationships: Friendships and Sexuality Education
• Parent Training and Support

Ausome News alert! 📣
Sarah, who is a long time member of our Craft Circle and Spectrum Connection social groups, recently graduated this past June from Georgian College, earning her diploma from the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant, (OTAPTA) program.
Sarah worked hard and was dedicated throughout the two year program, graduating with honours. Sarah was also a program tutor through the Georgian College Library and Academic Success program where she enjoyed teaching and supporting other students.
Congratulations Sarah on your Graduation, obtaining your diploma and this amazing achievement! 👏
