Bateman Manufacturing is a proven leader in material handling attachments. Bateman Manufacturing was established in 1989 in Barrie, Ontario.

With decades of expertise, we deliver durable, high-performance solutions for scrap, waste, and recycling applicationsβ€”built on quality, reliability, and innovation. At that time, Bateman manufactured attachments for excavators, loaders, and material handlers for the construction, demolition, and forestry industries. In 2002, Bateman moved to Orillia Ontario and increased production of Orange Peel Grapples and Demolition Grapples, introducing more products to the Recycling and Demolition industries. In 2011, Bateman moved to a 35,000 sq.ft. facility in Oro-Medonte, Ontario in response to the increased demand for Bateman products. Today, Bateman Manufacturing is proud to supply products both domestically and internationally.

Bateman is at Scrap Expo in Louisville β€” today and tomorrow.

Our B4T16-100SC grapple is mounted on a SENNEBOGEN 825 E Vario Tool Carrier, up and open where you can actually see it. Tine profile, jaw opening, build quality β€” the things a spec sheet won't tell you and a photo doesn't settle.

The GRYB fork is also on site, mounted on a SENNEBOGEN telehandler.

Stop by β€” our team is there both days.

Watch the Bateman Hydraulic Clamshell load sand straight off the barge. Over open water, loose material is easy to lose β€” and every dribble over the side is sand you dug, paid to move, and never landed in the barge.

This one keeps it in the load. The enclosed shells close around wet, loose material and hold it, fines and all, so what you scoop lands in the barge, not the water. Less waste, a cleaner waterway, and 360Β° rotation that lets the operator fill evenly without repositioning.

Throwback to 2023 β€” Ian Weinstein of Allied Salvage & Metals on what working with Bateman has meant for his operation.

His takeaway was simple: the grapples deliver, and the partnership behind them delivers just as much. That's what we're after β€” building equipment operators trust, and earning a relationship they value year after year.

Thanks to Ian and the Allied Salvage & Metals team. Relationships like this one are the real measure of success.

No limits. No unwinding. Just position and place.

The Bateman 160 Series Five-Tine Scrap Grapple runs on a high-torque bearing rotator with 360Β° continuous rotation. Spin the load to any angle, in either direction, and place material exactly where it needs to go β€” no repositioning the machine.

More control at the tool means faster cycles and cleaner loading, shift after shift.
