Most people spend months picking out the perfect tile, but the most important part of a shower renovation is actually the stuff you’ll never see.
We use the Schluter Ditra and Kerdi system because a beautiful bathroom doesn’t mean much if it isn't built to last. Kerdi creates a completely waterproof and vapor-tight seal, which is the only real way to protect your home from moisture and mold long-term. When it comes to the floors, Ditra provides that essential uncoupling layer, so if your house shifts or settles, your tile and grout stay solid instead of cracking.
At the end of the day, durability is just as important as the aesthetic. You want a shower that looks high-end on day one, but stays leak-free and structurally sound for decades.
If you’re planning a remodel, let's talk about how to do it right from the studs up. Send over a DM or comment below to get started!
