"Ellie joined MRC this spring through our Learn to Row program and quickly showed us how naturally rowing came to her. She caught on incredibly fast and has already competed at two regattas this summer, bringing home an impressive two medals!

Ellie now rows several times a week and has made incredible progress in such a short time. She is kind, helpful, enthusiastic, and always has a smile on her face. We love having her at the club and are so proud of how far she has come!"

Mahua
"Mahua has been rowing for the past four years and has shown great dedication to the sport. This summer, she competed in two regattas, bringing home two medals in her first season of racing. Mahua is always willing to step in and fill a seat when needed, and she is a helpful and positive member of the team. She listens to instruction, works hard to improve her technique, and is always looking for ways to become a better rower. Her commitment, willingness to learn, and team-first attitude make her a valuable part of the club"

Sue
"Sue joined the club this year as an enthusiastic member who didn't say no to anything. She was always willing to row with anyone by filling in for a crew or taking people out in a double. Sue encouraged people to participate in regattas under the MRC banner. She shared her knowledge and assisted with a new para rower. Sue is an asset to MRC"

Congrats to the 3 MRC crews and The Slaters (RHKYC) on amazing races today at Muskoka Fall Classic! .muruve raced the U19 Men's 1x for the very first time!!! raced in the U19 Women's 2x with Robin from and , Ellie, and Sue raced the Club/Sr Women's 4x. Our guest MRC members and Andrew raced the Grand Master's Mixed Open 2x and WON their event! It was the perfect day for a regatta!
