Josephine and her six kittens came to us after being picked up off the side of a highway. At her vet check, she tested “faint positive” for FIV — a result that often reflects past exposure rather than active disease.

She will be retested in 3 weeks.

A few quick facts about FIV:

• Cats with FIV can live long, healthy, happy lives. Many live well into their senior years with no complications.
• FIV is not spread through sharing food bowls, toys, grooming, cuddling, or normal household life.
• Transmission requires deep, serious bite wounds, which are extremely rare in stable homes.
• FIV‑positive cats can safely live with other FIV‑positive cats, and many guardians choose to adopt a second one for companionship.

🌸 SAMI — The Snuggler
Our calm, quiet girl with tiny paws and a HUGE heart. Sami would much rather cuddle with her foster mom than be the centre of the action. She loves exploring outside and is amazing on off-leash walks, staying close to her people.

💙 ABIE — The Sweetheart
Our gorgeous blue-eyed girl! Abie is all about cuddles, belly rubs, walks and enrichment. She’s confident around big dogs, loves her siblings and is doing wonderfully with her puppy training.

These two sweet babies were recently sprung from the Brandon City Pound and wasted no time settling into their foster home, where they are already soaking up every ounce of love and attention.

Duckie and JellyBean will be fully vetted as soon as possible and will be ready to join their new families shortly afterward.

Kenny is a 12 week‑old kitten born to a stray momma and lovingly raised by a wonderful family. He’s sweet, adaptable, and will fit into just about any home. He’s still a little unsure of the dog, but he absolutely adores cats and humans.

Kenny will be vaccinated next week and ready to join his new family shortly afterwards.

Looking for a sweet, playful pup with a big personality? Tucker is a confident, social little guy who’s ready to find his forever family! ❤️

🐶 Tucker is the fun‑loving, expressive brother!
Vocal, curious, and endlessly playful, he’s always ready for an adventure. He lives for belly rubs, wrestling, tug‑of‑war, and even playfully chasing the kitten around the yard. He’s a total social butterfly who loves being part of the action and soaking up attention from his people. ❤️

✨ Tucker is thriving in his foster home:
• Well‑socialized and comfortable in a busy household
• Wonderful with adult cats, kittens, toddlers, older children, and adults
• Eats kibble twice daily
• Making fantastic progress with potty training
• Sleeps through most of the night, with an occasional gentle whine when he needs a quick potty break
• Loves to play but is also learning how to settle and relax

Whether he’s wrestling, exploring, playing with his favorite toys, or simply hanging out beside his people, Tucker is growing into a confident, well‑rounded pup. 🥰

Now he’s looking for a family who will continue his training, socialization, and adventures while giving him all the love he deserves.

We received a message about four newborn kittens found out in the rain, their tiny bodies cold and their mom showing no interest in them at all. After watching very closely for hours, their caregiver decided to act … brought them inside, warmed them up, and reached out for help.

One of our amazing vets immediately agreed to take them on, which meant we were able to and bring these fragile little lives into care.

Bottle baby fosters are incredible humans, but we all know nothing can truly replace the comfort, warmth, and instinctive care of being raised by your momma.

Gail had just finished raising her litter of ginger babies… but the moment she heard the soft cries of these new tiny ones, she couldn’t resist. She absolutely adores them and wanted so badly to be their momma — she stepped right into that role with all the love in the world.

Today, these babies are safe, warm, cherished and have a brand new momma, supported by her foster momma to provide the best care for these ginger babies.

Community compassion and dedication makes miracles like this possible.

Scout is a beautiful German Shepherd mix, approximately 5 months old, and growing like a w**d! 🌱 She’s currently around medium size and still has plenty of growing and filling out to do.

✨ A little bit about Scout:
🐶 Absolutely loves people
🐕 Gets along well with other dogs
🐱 Fostered in a home with 3 cats and a small dog and learning how to live happily with everyone
🦮 A fantastic leash walker, especially when distractions are minimal
🧠 Super smart and eager to learn
🏡 Working hard on her house manners
🌳 LOVES being outside and enjoying the yard
👀 A little watchdog who takes her job of monitoring passersby very seriously! 😂

Scout already knows sit, wait, and stay, and she’s continuing to work on her manners both inside the house and out on walks. She’s a quick learner and would love a family who will keep her busy, continue her training, and help her grow into the amazing adult dog she’s meant to be.

She can be a little shy around larger, older, confident dogs, but this is something we commonly see with puppies. With proper introductions, patience, and positive experiences, we expect her confidence to continue to grow. 💕

Scout is an energetic puppy, so she’s looking for a home that is ready for the fun, training, adventures, and occasional chaos that comes with raising a young dog. In return, you’ll get an affectionate, devoted companion who is eager to please and loves her people wholeheartedly. 🥹💛
