Food for thought 🤠

Meet our 2026 herd sire!
We selected him from the Genex Catalog of Sires.
Bottom line for us is the wellbeing of our cows. Always.
Our cows are miniature. When selecting a bull our top concerns were:
1: Breed- Hereford; because we like them for their cool, calm attitude.
2: Low birth weight; hopefully he passes this onto his babies which will mean easier calving for our cows.
3: Polled; we are not fans of the horns.
4: AI; this is our first time breeding this way and I have to say, we're kinda liking the idea of not having to feed, house and care for a bull.
This is only form of AI I'm interested in 👌

Grass and grain fed.. I pull the weeds from my garden, they eat the weeds. Nothing goes to waste around here 🤠
Only about 4 weeks out until our fresh meat birds are ready for pickup!
If you want on the list, let me know asap, not too many left!

🌾First day out on grass! 🌾
Only about half were brave enough to try coming out today, though with being freshly bedded last night, can't say I blame them.
🐥Soon enough they'll all figure it out and the chicken house will empty every morning.
Happy Chicks!
🐔 Clean out day is always a good day!
