We are excited to share this NEW by honouring 25 years since the events of September 11, 2001, and the 38 planes that were diverted to Gander and surrounding communities.

On September 11, 2001, the United States closed its airspace, and 38 planes were forced to land in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. The story of how Gander and the surrounding communities came together to help still resonates today. Check out this new by commemorating this event.

September's activities at the library are all planned!

Please note that as of September 8th we will be back to Fall Operating Hours which are:

Monday/ Tuesday/ Thursday 3:00 - 8:30 & Wednesday 3:00 - 4:30

The Library will be closed Monday September 7th for the Labour Day Holiday.

Summer Operating Hours are still in effect until Thursday September 3rd. Fall Operating Hours will begin Tuesday September 8th. Schedules will be posted online and on entrance when new hours take effect.

We are making a small collection of books, art, and memorabilia from our area(Buchans, Buchans Junction, and Millertown) for our new Local Interests section of our library. If you have anything of interest that you'd like to share please contact Renee!

New on the shelf in Adult Fiction!

The very LAST TD Summer Reading Club event will be on Monday August 24th 1:00 - 3:00pm! Be sure to drop by as we will have activities, snacks and prizes! All ages are welcome. *Children under 10 MUST be accompanied by a parent/ guardian.
