Remember those mornings in July and August when you’d come in and find Greg passed out upstairs, while the shop smelled like a dive bar’s ashtray and a few questionable life choices?

Mystery solved. He wasn’t sleeping—he was designing new Coven pieces, new hinged rings, new threadless opals, and these new displays. Apparently, Greg’s idea of a restful night is creating four new projects and leaving the rest of us to wonder if he’s still breathing

On my way to work this morning, my phone started lighting up with Instagram notifications. Apparently Greg had arrived early and posted something.

Suspicious—but not yet alarming.

When I got here, he had already taken care of a boatload of orders and was passed out upstairs in his office. We checked. He’s still breathing, so there is no need to contact his next of kin. Yet.

But then we saw what was on his computer.

That is not body jewelry.

That is a bolt-action pen.

Not just a picture of a pen, either. The man has a complete CAD drawing with individual components, dimensions and a manufacturing plan.

Because apparently running Infinitebody, machining body jewelry, developing five new Coven pieces and arguing with polishing machines wasn’t keeping him busy enough.

Nobody requested this. Nobody encouraged him. Yet here we are.

God help us all. Greg has discovered another thing he can manufacture.

Someone hide the titanium and unplug the Haas before he wakes up.

Yup—the rumours are absolutely true. Greg is currently tied to his machine, making the first prototypes for five new Coven pieces. That will bring the collection to a Lucky 13.

To make this story completely unbelievable, he’s drinking water instead of coffee. Clearly, the man is not thinking straight. Someone should probably check on him. 😂
