Every one of the cats and kittens we have in foster are looking for their happy endings - and they are all deserve the best care we can give them while they are waiting for their places... But great care is costly.
We have some amazing vets who give us reduce rates on their services and we are extremely grateful. Vetting costs money, good quality food costs money and everything is so expensive these days.

Presenting Jade and Spring!
DOB July 15/23
These sisters are lovely! Full of sillyness on occasion, they are mostly sweet, quiet and very well behaved.
Jade is the tortie girl and her sister Spring is a boldly marked tabby...Yes! They did actually come from the same mama!
Both cats are calm and non demanding. They don't ask for affection, but are happy when you offer a good scritch or gentle petting.
They are good with other cats and with gentle dogs. They have not been around children but would be fine with older kids. They are not the kind of kitties that you are going to pick up and carry around, but if you are working from home, they will stay in the office with you and keep you company.
I would prefer that they be adopted together but would consider separating them if you have another gentle cat in the home already

Presenting - Silver!
Beautiful Silver came to us as nursing mama. Found homeless with her babies, she moved in when they were only a few days old.

Now that her babies are grown and adopted, she is looking for a warm safe place to lay her paws too.

Silver will need a very special adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to blossom
She has NEVER shown any signs of aggression or protectiveness, even when her babies were small.
She is still learning to trust and will come up to her foster for head scratches once in awhile. But she is hyper aware of sounds and afraid of anything new.
You can’t run over and pick her up - but she will come to you if she trusts you and she’s in the right mood.
She needs someone who has patience and time to spend with her.

Her ideal home would be a quiet and calm place with one or two humans who are home a lot of the time.
She has great potential to blossom into a sweet, loving and gentle companion

UDR friends we need your help. This mama is way up north outside, and pregnant.

She is said to be good with dogs and people. She needs medical help and we are willing to help her, but we need a place for her to go.

Do we have any compassionate people on our page willing to offer this mama a safe haven/foster home? UDR will cover her medical bills and food but will need the foster to transport her to and from vet appointments. Our vets are in Markham, Oakville, Barrie, or Guelph.

Winter is coming and she cannot be left in the cold. If you can offer her a safe haven, please send us a private message.

Presenting - Ricky!
Ricky is still waiting for someone to give him the loving home he deserves — and time is becoming critical.

Through absolutely no fault of his own, this sweet 8-year-old neutered male tabby has found himself without a permanent home. His original owner has gone into long-term care, and his current caregiver unfortunately cannot continue to give Ricky the time and attention he deserves.

Ricky is sweet, affectionate, and snuggly. He is up to date on his vaccinations and is simply looking for someone who will love him and give him a safe, permanent place to call home.

​We are now urgently looking for a new home for Ricky. His current caregivers are considering surrendering him, and we desperately want to find him a loving home before that becomes necessary.

MEET MOOSE — LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!
Moose is a 2-year-old, neutered male Cavapoo, weighing approximately 50 lbs, who is looking for a new family through absolutely no fault of his own.

A little about Moose: Moose is a genuinely lovely young man who warms up to people easily and is quick to offer plenty of tail wags. He’s sweet, sensitive, smart and very willing to learn and he has been an absolute angel for his veterinary care.
Moose has lived successfully with an older dog and is not dog aggressive. He is, however, unsure of unfamiliar dogs. When he’s uncomfortable, his preference is simply to move away and create some space rather than engage. Because he isn’t the bravest boy, introductions to new canine friends should be slow, calm and gentle, allowing him time to build confidence at his own pace.
Moose is untested with cats and young children and a quieter, predictable household where he can feel safe and secure would likely suit him best.
Moose enjoys his walks and does very well wearing a Gentle Leader. He can be a strong boy and likes to pull, so the Gentle Leader makes his walks much more manageable.

Like many young dogs, Moose hasn’t had the opportunity to learn a lot of formal manners yet—but don’t mistake that for an inability to learn! He’s bright, responsive and catches on quickly. With patience, consistency and positive reinforcement, we think this sensitive boy has tremendous potential.
What Moose needs most is someone who understands that confidence doesn’t happen overnight. He needs a kind, patient person or family willing to teach him what he needs to know while giving him the security and encouragement to become the wonderful dog we know he can be.

In return, you’ll get a sweet, tail-wagging young dog with a whole lot of love to give.
Moose is looking for a forever home — not just a place to live, but a family willing to help him blossom.
