Why We Do What We Do. ❤️🐴🇨🇦

People often ask why the Peel Agricultural Society hosts events like the RCMP Musical Ride. The answer is simple: it's about creating moments that inspire, connect, and leave a lasting impact on our community.

Meet Colin.

Four years ago, Colin decided he wanted to become a police officer. Two years ago, he met members of the RCMP for the very first time, and from that moment, his dream only grew stronger. Since then, he's made it a point to meet the RCMP at events across Ontario.

When Colin heard the RCMP Musical Ride was coming to our community, he made a big decision—he chose to skip Christmas in July at the family trailer so he could attend. Watching the Musical Ride in person left him even more inspired, and now he's looking into horseback riding lessons as he continues to chase his dream.

Stories like Colin's remind us why these events matter. They're about more than entertainment. They're about sparking curiosity, building connections, celebrating Canadian traditions, and inspiring the next generation to dream big.

To Colin, thank you for reminding us why we do what we do. We can't wait to see where your journey takes you, and we're cheering you on every step of the way. ❤️

Yesterday the Peel Agricultural Society hosted the RCMP Musical Ride and it was a performance to remember!

What an incredible day at the RCMP Musical Ride! 🐴🇨🇦

The day started off with some interesting weather but with a little shuffling of our plans and some good will from Mother Nature, the rain held off for the RCMP Musical Ride.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, performed, exhibited, and helped behind the scenes—thank you. Your enthusiasm, support, and community spirit made this event truly unforgettable.

A special thank you to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride for sharing this iconic Canadian tradition with our community. It was an honour to welcome the officers, horses, and support team to Peel AgriHub.

To our sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, emergency services, community partners, volunteers, and staff—this event would not have been possible without your generosity, dedication, and countless hours of hard work.

And to everyone who came out to cheer, wave your Canadian flags, support local vendors, and celebrate together—thank you for braving the weather and making the day so special. Seeing families, friends, and neighbours come together to celebrate Canadian heritage and community is exactly what this event was all about.

☀️🌧️ RCMP Musical Ride Weather & Air Quality Update 🌧️☀️

Some of you may be wondering about tomorrow's weather and air quality and how that may impact the RCMP Musical Ride, and we appreciate everyone's concern.

At this time, the RCMP Musical Ride is proceeding as planned. 🐴🇨🇦

The event will go ahead rain or shine, so come prepared! We recommend dressing for the weather and packing a pair of rubber boots just in case Mother Nature has other plans.

That said, the safety of our guests, performers, horses, and volunteers is our top priority. If thunderstorms develop or air quality conditions remain a concern, the RCMP will make the final decision on whether the performance can safely proceed.
