Calgary Marathon Road Closures & Parking Restrictions – May 23 & 24

The Servus Calgary Marathon will be running through East Village on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24. The following rolling road closures will be in effect on Saturday May 23 from 6 to 11:30 a.m. and on Sunday, May 24 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
9 Avenue S.E. between 3 Street S.E. and 5 Street S.E.
5 Street S.E. between 9 Avenue S.E. and 8 Avenue S.E.
8 Avenue S.E. between 5 Street S.E. and 6 Street S.E.
Along 6 Street S.E., Confluence Way S.E. and Riverfront Ave S.E.

Parking restrictions and bans will be in place May 23 and 24 from 3 a.m. - 3 p.m. Restricted parking signage will be in place no later than Friday, May 22 at 3 a.m.

The Servus Calgary Marathon will affect East Village this weekend primarily through major road closures, high spectator foot traffic, and vibrant community block parties. Because the race routes pass directly through the neighborhood, residents and visitors should expect significant detours and localized restrictions.

The Calgary gallery is conceived as both a destination and a dialogue, offering an exciting space where exceptional artworks meet the energy of one of Canada's most dynamic collector communities. Throughout the year, the gallery will present a rotating selection of works for private sales, highlights of our upcoming auctions, and curated exhibitions. Peter Ohler, Western Canada Representative and Director of Private Sales, will be heading this office.

To celebrate our opening, we invite you to an exclusive preview of our Select Masterworks of Canadian & International Art. This special occasion offers the opportunity to experience our new 1,000-square-foot exhibition space and to view a selection of rare artworks by members of the Group of Seven and international icons before hitting the auction block on May 27th.
