Tough Decision, but the right one.
Not sure if it is the loss of my sewing partner or the the rising cost of fabric and shipping, but I have decided to close my business. I will continue to sew for myself and will do special orders if you want something. I have debated about this for a while and it just seems like the right time to do it. Thanks so much for all your support!

🍁 October 1 🍁
It has been a beautiful fall, with summer like weather. We have spent the last 2 weeks downsizing again and moving to a condo. I think that we are finally settled. The pictures will get hung when the inspiration hits me. 😂

My sewing machine is set up and the schedule for tomorrow is to sew. I am so excited to be back creating.

One quiet week.
It has been exactly one week since we bid farewell to this faithful companion who kept me company while I sewed. He probably had no idea what I was saying when I asked his opinion on an item that I added to a project, but he always looked interested.

I have reduced some of my home decor inventory and will be starting to create more Fidget quilts and Dog Bandannas in the next weeks. These are projects that have a special meaning for me.

Next Generation!
I spent the afternoon helping my grandchildren sew. My grandson is using his Great Grandmother’s sewing machine. It was a busy but amazing afternoon!

September - Alzheimer's Month

It is hard to believe that September has arrived and we are going to need to wrap up another summer of fun. The maple tree in my yard is signalling that fall is coming even if the weather isn't.

I had a busy summer and did not sew or post much because I was enjoying the great outdoors.

September's goal was to get back at creating Fidget Quilts and finding ways to get them into the community.

The universe has a different plan for me for this September, so I will not be on social media very much. I do have a few Fidget quilts for sale in my Etsy shop if you are interested in one. Or, if you want a special order for a Christmas gift, I will be sewing more in October.

In the meantime, enjoy the change of seasons and the wonderful things that fall brings.
