What’s up my fellow red’s

Ipswich 0 – 2 Liverpool
After 2 difficult matches, we had a slightly easier task in week 3. It was nice to see the boy not fold like a cheap suit when Ipswich got a few of their own chances. Gakpo set up both goals, which is not bad for a player who took a lot of criticism for a p**s poor Liverpool attack last year. Let’s hope he can keep it up. Isak is looking like the player that we all knew was in there, yeah, I know it was only Ipswich, but he did look sharp. And I was also impressed with Araujo, regularly pushing high up the pitch. Are our defensive frailties resolved, absolutely not, but they are looking better. Good to see Barcola coming on for a few minutes, not long enough for me to have an opinion on him yet, but still good to see.

Up next: Champions League round 1, Liverpool welcome Atletico Madrid to Anfield. Game is set for Wednesday September 9th, KO is at 1pm

Banners: As you may have noticed the banners at the pub are no longer up, fear not my fellow reds new ones are arriving soon

Scarfs: This year we are doing scarfs again and my wife have once again out done herself on the design, these scarfs will be free to all members in good standing

I unfortunately will not be there for the match or AGM on Saturday; I’ll be watching in Vancouver.
