How do you instantly earn brownie points with your wife?

Guys, here's a free marriage tip.

Kiss her on the cheek.
Lean in and whisper:
"I'm taking you for mimosas. Let's go get drunk at 10:00 in the morning."

I swear I've never seen my wife smile that fast.

Sometimes it's not about expensive gifts.
Sometimes it's breakfast drinks and spontaneous chaos.

Who's adding this to their weekend plans? πŸ₯‚

Your attitude matters more than your skill at the start 🦷

Skills can be taught
Attitude cannot

Early in your career clinics are looking for

β€’ Reliability
β€’ Willingness to learn
β€’ Positive energy
β€’ Effort

You are not expected to know everything yet

But how you show up every day
That is what people remember

πŸ‘‰ Your reputation starts on day one

Have you forgotten that you're human too?

To every RDA who needed to hear this today...

You are human.

You're going to have days where you're tired.
You're going to make mistakes.
You're going to feel overwhelmed.
You're going to question yourself.

That doesn't make you a bad dental assistant.
It makes you a person.

You spend every day taking care of everyone else.
Don't forget to give yourself the same grace.

Sometimes "good enough" is more than enough.

❀️ You've got this.

If you are standing around waiting you are already behind 🦷

There is always something to do in a clinic

If you do not know what to do
Clean something

Being proactive shows

β€’ Initiative
β€’ Awareness
β€’ Team mindset

Your clinic notices immediately

πŸ‘‰ The best assistants do not wait
They anticipate

When was the last time you gave yourself permission to pause?

To every RDA who feels like they have to keep going...

The world won't fall apart if you take five minutes.

The patients will still be there.
The charts can wait.
The sterilization can wait a moment.
The emails aren't going anywhere.

You can't pour from an empty cup.

A short pause isn't laziness.
It's how you make sure you can keep showing up for everyone else.

Take the break.
Drink the water.
Breathe.

You deserve it.

Have you ever felt emotionally exhausted after caring for patients all day?

To every RDA...

Compassion fatigue is real.

When you spend your days comforting anxious patients, supporting your team, and putting everyone else's needs first, it takes a toll.

You may not notice it right away.

You just feel... drained.

If you've been feeling that way lately, you're not weak.
You're not failing.

You're carrying more than people realize.

Take care of yourself with the same compassion you give to everyone else.

You deserve it.

Have you ever felt like people only see you as "the assistant"?

To every RDA reading this...

You are more than a support role.

You are the calm voice that eases anxious patients.

You are the extra set of eyes that catches the small details.

You are the person keeping procedures flowing, instruments ready, and the day moving forward.

You educate.
You advocate.
You problem solve.

A dental office doesn't run because one person is great.

It runs because the whole team is.

Never underestimate the value you bring to your practice every single day.

When was the last time you took the long way to the break room?

Here's your permission.

Take the extra lap.

Walk a little slower.

Stretch your legs.

Take one deep breath before you walk back into the operatory.

Sometimes those extra 30 seconds are exactly what your mind needs.

You spend your entire shift taking care of patients.

Don't forget to take care of yourself too.

Small breaks can make a big difference.
