š¾ Introducing BENCHMARK ā My Slicker Brush
After 23+ years of grooming, training and handling dogs, Iāve worked with countless grooming tools. Over the years, Iāve learnt exactly what I want from a slicker brush ā and, just as importantly, what I donāt.
So I decided to create my own.
Iām incredibly excited to introduce BENCHMARK ā Slicker Brush by Ranjith.
I wanted to create a brush that feels good in your hand, gives you better control and can comfortably become one of those tools you reach for every single day.
One feature that was particularly important to me was the longer ergonomic handle. When you spend hours grooming, the way you hold and control your brush matters. I wanted better reach and a more comfortable working position, especially during longer grooming sessions.
The fine angled pins are designed to work effectively through the coat and remove loose hair, while the brush itself remains lightweight and comfortable to work with.
But I also wanted BENCHMARK to be accessible.
Whether youāre an experienced groomer or someone just beginning your grooming career, I donāt believe you should have to spend a fortune to have a professional grooming tool you can rely on.
This brush comes from 23+ years of hands-on experience, and Iām genuinely proud to finally put my name behind it.

Thereās something special about watching her move ā the confidence, the presence, the attitude, and that unmistakable Doberman elegance.
Every step tells a story. Every movement shows the work, dedication, and bond behind the scenes.
Proud of this beautiful girl and the way she carries herself every time she steps into the ring. ā¤ļøšš¾

š Monday was one to remember! š¤
What an incredible way to wrap up an amazing show weekend.
Our beautiful Kumba made us proud once again by earning:
š„ Best of Breed
š
4th in Group
under respected judge Paul H. Stanton.
Every time we step into the ring, we carry months of preparation, conditioning, grooming, training, and trust. Every stack, every stride, and every moment in the ring reflects the countless hours spent working together as a team.
To see Kumba rewarded with Best of Breed and then stand among the top dogs in the Group with a Group Fourth is something weāre incredibly proud of. She continues to mature beautifully, giving her heart every single time she enters the ring.
A heartfelt thank you to Judge Paul H. Stanton for this wonderful recognition, and congratulations to all the exhibitors who made the competition so enjoyable.
To everyone who has supported Kumba throughout her journeyāour friends, fellow exhibitors, mentors, and everyone cheering us on from afarāthank you. Your encouragement means more than you know.
Hereās to celebrating this milestone and looking forward to many more adventures together.
Way to go, Kumba! Weāre so proud of you. ā¤ļøš¾

Some of the best moments in life donāt happen in the spotlight. They happen at home.
After a long day, thereās nothing better than winding down with the ones who matter mostāour family, our dogs, and the quiet moments that remind us what life is really about.
Dogs donāt ask for much. Just love, time, and to be close to the people they trust. And in return, they give us a kind of loyalty thatās impossible to put into words.
This is our perfect end to the day. ā¤ļøš¾
Love. Comfort. Companionship. Thatās what itās all about.

Thereās something about standing in front of a group of Dobermans that never gets old.
Their intensity. Their intelligence. Their willingness to work. Their loyalty.
This breed has my heart, and moments like this remind me exactly why. š¤š¾
Big things are happening over hereā¦ šš¾
Iām pretty excited to show this beautiful girl at the upcoming showā¦
ā¦but apparently Maya has other plans. š¤£
Sheās officially decided she wants to be a Junior Handler, and judging by how seriously sheās watching everything, I might be out of a job soon! š§š¶š

A groomerās honest opinionā¦ š¾
One question I get asked all the time is:
āWhatās the best shampoo for my dog?ā
My answer usually surprises people.
After more than 20 years of grooming dogs, Iāve learned that itās not always about buying the most expensive shampoo. Itās about understanding the coat in front of you and knowing how to get the very best from the products you use.
Iāve been using DezynaDog Doodle Doo on many doodle coats and have been impressed with the results. It cleans well, leaves the coat soft and fluffy, and the conditioner helps with manageability when used correctly.
But hereās what really mattersā¦
āļø Proper dilution āļø Knowing when to layer products āļø Choosing the right products for the coat type āļø Giving the shampoo enough contact time āļø Correct drying techniques
These are the details that transform a good groom into a great one.
No shampooāno matter how expensiveācan replace regular brushing and proper coat maintenance at home.
The product matters. The technique matters more.

āØ Fresh trim. Soft coat. Happy pup. āØ
Thereās something special about seeing a dog leave the grooming table feeling lighter, cleaner, and full of confidence.
Every groom is tailored to the individual dogānot rushed, not one-size-fits-all. From careful coat preparation to the finishing touches, my goal is always the same: a dog thatās comfortable, looks beautiful, and enjoys the experience.
Because great grooming isnāt just about appearanceāitās about care, trust, and attention to every detail. š¾ā¤ļø .swain

šØ Warning: The loud whistle is not a sound effectā¦ itās the sound of dogs making better life choices. šš
One whistle.
No chasing.
No yelling.
No repeating commands 15 times.
When recall is built on trust, consistency, and clear communication, dogs donāt just hear youā¦ they want to come back.
Yes, the whistle is loud.
Yes, people turn around.
And yesā¦ the dogs beat them to it every single time. šš¾
š¢ Can your dog come back with just one whistle?

Yesterday, Kumba, Ice, and Price traded the training field for the off-leash park.
There were no ribbons. No judges. Just dogs running, playing, building fitness, and enjoying every second of it.
People often think show preparation is all drills and repetition. In reality, itās also about conditioning, confidence, and making sure your dog loves the journey as much as the destination.
Price is gearing up for her dog show next month, and sessions like these are just as important as ring practice.
A tired dog is one thing.
A fit, happy, and confident dog is a competitor.
Hereās to muddy paws, wagging tails, and another step closer to the ring. šā¤ļø
