Sponsor Energy

Three dogs walked into an energy company…
and you can imagine how productive we all became.

The crew from CB Rescue rolled up to Sponsor HQ in their Pawmobile to pick up their donation cheque, bringing three ridiculously cute dogs and a whole lotta fun.

Of course, our office staff immediately fell in love. There were grown adults completely losing their minds over a tiny dog in a blanket, a giant goofball with a heart of gold and a black bundle of energy.

Belinda & Colin, thank you for the heart and hard work you put into rescue. We loved having you here, we loved seeing the Pawmobile again, and we’re proud to support the work you do helping them dogs find their furever homes.

WE LOVE WOMEN!!! 💗

Today’s gorgeous pink cheque for $5,900.00 goes to WINS (Women In Need Society). And this one is ALL about the women. The women who struggle. Who work. Who help. Who volunteer. Who somehow keep it all together...

WINS not only operates the super cool thrift shops many of us frequent for great deals and incredible fashion finds - but they are also there in many many ways for women in need with practical help and a hand up.

And behind it all? A whole lot of women helping women. 💗

And men too! Cheers to the awesome WINS delivery drivers who were kind enough to let us snap a pic of them as they head out to make their deliveries.

⚡ Go WOMEN!! Use Your Power for Good.

⚡ TEAM SPONSOR ENERGY TAKES ON CALGARY CORPORATE CHALLENGE!

What a couple of weeks! 🙌 From Amazing Race and Truck Pull to Trivia, Fortnite, Laser Tag, Bocce and Curling — Team Sponsor Energy brought the energy, the laughs and a little friendly competition. 😂 The best part? Getting out of the office, having some fun and getting to know our teammates in a completely different way.

There may have been a little sweat, a few tears… and, quietly, we didn’t come in last. 😉

A huge THANK YOU to Calgary Corporate Challenge for bringing Calgary companies together and giving us a great excuse to play, compete, connect and get involved in our community. And to our Sponsor Energy crew — thanks for showing up, cheering each other on and making it such a blast! ⚡💗

It's Fursday Thursday time folks and here are some highlights from our visit to Sheep River Dog Rescue near Okotoks!

We met some very good dogs, ate some delicious hot dogs...and brought along a big pink cheque for $1,000 to kick off our new partnership!

We’re so happy to welcome Sheep River Dog Rescue to the Sponsor Energy family. Thanks for having us at the party—and for everything you do for dogs who need a little extra love. 🐶⚡

To all those with kids struggling with their mental health… are you finding things are getting worse? Are they getting the help they need? Things are so much more complex now and the need for mental health help and actual, physical facilities for people and kids to unplug and get the help they need are becoming more important than ever.

We see it. Our employees see it.

Somehow, we all intuitively know that the root of many of our societal woes stem from mental health struggles… and today we went to Edmonton to welcome an organization tackling this issue in a huge and creative way...

CASA Mental Health!!!!!!!

And best of all we brought them a big and beautiful pink cheque to kick off our new partnership and to celebrate what they do and their expansion throughout Alberta!

We’re excited to have CASA as part of the Sponsor Energy family and to Use Our Power for Good together. 💗⚡

THEY DID THE TIME. WE BROUGHT THE PARTY! 🐾

What a fantastic day at Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society - AARCS Kenneled for a Cause!!!! The event JUST finished and we are completely pooched!

Sponsor Energy was proud to sponsor this WILDLY fun event - and while we managed to stay out of the kennels, the Sponsor Monster was definitely on the loose!!

We handed out UnScrewdrivers, partied with some wonderful humans and helped shine a spotlight on an incredibly worthy cause: giving animals in need a second chance. 💗

Thank you to Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS), everyone who bravely got kenneled and all the amazing people who donated and joined the fun.

BIG MONEY was raised today - thank you everyone!!

Well this day has gone to the dogs...

This Fursday Thursday we welcomed a new rescue partner to the Sponsor family - Hope Lives Here Animal Rescue Society!

Since they rely entirely on foster homes, there were no humans available for the official cheque presentation… so the dogs graciously agreed to accept the cheque themselves!

To help get things started, Sponsor Energy seeded our new partnership with a $1,000.00 donation and the pups could not have been be happier! But they do have one very serious request:

PLEASE CONSIDER BECOMING A FOSTER.

Every new foster home gives Hope Lives Here (and animal rescues everywhere) the ability to say “yes” to another animal in need. Fostering is one of the most important parts of saving lives. 💗

“LOVE IS A FOUR-LEGGED WORD.”

(c'mon dog lovers, show us a pic of your BFF!!)

🚁 STAN HAD A VERY BIG DAY. He got his heart restarted. He took a selfie. He hitched a ride in the Sponsor Monster....and somehow, he got his hands on a cheque for $15,500.00!

Today, we had an absolute blast hanging out with Stan & the STARS Ambulance crew and delivering a big cheque to help STARS continue its lifesaving work.

Fortunately, Stan is STARS’ medical-training mannequin, and all of today’s unusual activity was in support of some very serious work. STARS brings critical care directly to patients when every second matters. Their highly trained crews respond to some of the most difficult situations imaginable, providing advanced medical care in the air, on the ground and in communities across Western Canada.

And long before a real mission happens, STARS crews train for it. High-fidelity simulation patients like Stan allow medical teams to practice complex, high-risk emergencies in a realistic and controlled environment.

And to Stan & the STARS: thanks for showing us around today! You guys were great sports and Stan was mostly well-behaved...
