Community Care Innovations is proud to support Zalmi Food Bank in helping low-income families and newcomers in our community. Together, we have provided 100,000+ pounds of household items and cleaning supplies to families in need.

A special thank you to Canadian Zalmi and all the incredible volunteers for their dedication, time, and continued support. Together, we are making a difference! ❤️

Happy Tuesday, Friends! The WCA Pop-up Pantry is once again open today at 5:30pm in the Market Hall (west entrance). Please dress APPROPRIATELY for the weather and avoid arriving early. The order of access is as follows:
1. Whitehorn Residents with a WCA Membership
2. Outside residents with a WCA Membership
3. All other visitors via random number.

This system is in place to ensure our "one person per household" policy is better maintained as well as ensuring fair access to Whitehorn residents. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we do our best to help everyone we can.

Please also remember sharing is caring. Take what you need but leave enough for others. Donations are not expected, but gratefully accepted. These funds go directly to supporting the pantry by covering fuel for our volunteer drivers and adding to bulk food purchases. Every donation, small or large, is appreciated.

Please park in North Lot off of Whiteridge Way NE and enter through the west doors facing the ice rink and community garden.

• Household items (new or gently used)
• Brand-new cleaning supplies
• Everyday essential items for families

We’re grateful to share that we successfully distributed 300+ household and cleaning supplies hampers at Whitehorn Community Hall

This initiative was made possible in collaboration with Immigrant Learning Mums - ILM and Canadian Zalmi Society, with the generous support of the Whitehorn Community Association.

These essential supplies help ease financial pressure on families, allowing them to focus on their well-being and daily needs with dignity. Together, we are building stronger, healthier, and more supported communities.

We had a very busy and rewarding day filled with activities, food, and appreciation as we celebrated everyone involved in our youth sports program over the past year. 🙌⚽

In collaboration with the Canadian Zalmi Society, we are proud to see how this program has grown and positively impacted so many youth and families in our community. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together, reflect on our journey, and recognize the dedication and hard work of all participants, families, and volunteers.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our generous sponsors — Wajahat Feroz (Realtor), Mian Muzafar, and Nasir Ayub — for their continued support. Your contributions play a vital role in making these programs successful and accessible to the community.

We were also delighted to present appreciation to the participants of our Women’s Badminton Program, whose commitment, enthusiasm, and teamwork have been truly inspiring. 🏸

Our youth program in collaboration with Canadian Zalmi Society is running smoothly, and we are pleased to see more and more families benefiting from this initiative. 🙌

If you have children between the ages of 8 to 15 who would like to join our free soccer program, we welcome you to join us every Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
