Cold nights don’t have to mean idling all night. ❄️

Espar heaters provide an independent heat source for the bunk of a semi-truck, helping drivers stay warm and comfortable even when the truck is shut off.

Thermo King Calgary is an authorized dealer for Espar heaters, offering proven heating technology backed by decades of experience in the transportation industry. Espar is known for compact, fuel-operated heaters built for life on the road.

Meet Rindi Velker, general manager and chief financial officer at Thermo King Calgary. Earlier this month, she celebrated an incredible 20 years with the team.

For Rindi, there is no “typical day” at Thermo King Calgary, which is one of the things she enjoys most about her role.

“I get to look at both sides of the business: where we are financially and what is happening operationally to drive those results,” she shares.

That perspective allows Rindi to work across the organization, supporting the team while helping ensure the business continues to move forward.

Over the past two decades, it has also given her the opportunity to build lasting relationships with colleagues, customers and partners. For Rindi, those people and relationships are the most rewarding part of the job.

When asked what sets Thermo King Calgary apart, Rindi points to the tremendous amount of experience within the dealership. She highlights TK Calgary’s highly trained technicians, many with more than 10 years of experience, who understand both the equipment and their customers’ businesses.

Away from Thermo King Calgary, Rindi loves travelling, exploring new places and spending time with her family.

Please join us in congratulating Rindi on an incredible 20 years with Thermo King Calgary. Thank you, Rindi, for your long-standing commitment to the team, the business and the customers we serve!

For decades, Thermo King Calgary has grown steadily alongside the transportation industry in Southern Alberta, with a focus on one thing that hasn’t changed: keeping customers moving.

Since 1998, Thermo King Calgary has operated a service model that provides regular-time service 12 hours a day, seven days a week. That means doubling our service capacity, more flexibility for customers and fewer overtime costs when unexpected repairs come up.

Behind that service is a team with deep industry experience. Today, our staff bring a combined 285 years of service and experience to the business and speak 11 languages: English, French, Spanish, Romanian, Ukrainian, Russian, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Hungarian and Arabic.

A lot has changed over the years, but the commitment to reliable service, knowledgeable people and supporting our customers has stayed the same.

Every Thermo King unit is engineered as a complete system, and that means every part matters. ✅

As Southern Alberta's authorized Thermo King dealer, our parts team stocks genuine components designed and validated to restore full system performance, so your unit runs the way it was built to.

Genuine parts also back Thermo King's Extended Warranty Program. This means that when TK Calgary services your fleet, you get proper fit, reliable performance, and the full support of the Thermo King network, backed by our team right here at home.
