Finally grabbed a new belt.
After my efforts, my belt was called out

Added some stairs, and built a small fence to keep the dogs under control!

Matching existing carpentry is a niche that I've grown to enjoy. Whether thats building additional features to decks, or reshaping cabinetry to fit new appliances.

It finally happened. Our house got water damage from all this rain.

I tried to lighten the mood by letting my older two daughters help me make some content. This is how it turned out!

Want to talk about about a stressful job? Try doing this with three children that needed to burn off some energy!

Good news is the leak has been found and this was caused by worn out weather stripping, AND me not finishing my flooring at the door. Ill take this as a lesson to just finish the job in your own house. Don't leave it 99% done. Just finish it! I could've avoided all of this if I just applied my silicone near the door sill....
