Christian Ferstl and Matthew Sawyer founded TruTech Pest Control in
2020. They made this decision after witnessing a number of pest

education or empathy. Both Christian and Matthew were personally
affected by this in the past, which resulted in financial loss and
significant stress for not only them, but for others they know. Once Christian and Matthew left their previous careers, they
researched the pest control industry and realized their concerns were
not unfounded. Many people had the same frustrations with the lack of
quality service and sky high prices throughout the industry. TruTech Pest Control has instituted a customer service policy that
they not only follow, but one that they truly believe in. This

until you are. When it came pricing, they realized that the industry was dominated by
a few large companies. These companies have many layers of management
to support, from large executive boards with CEO’s, Presidents, Vice
Presidents, dozens of Directors, to their Shareholders. They also tend
to have an unnecessarily high number of middle-management positions
such as District Managers, Regional Managers, Area Managers, Branch
Managers, Service Managers, Sales Managers, the list goes on. Add to this the fact that some of these large companies have nearly
more sales and marketing employees than they do Pest Control
Technicians, showing that they are more concerned about sales than
providing excellent service to their clients. To offset these large expenses and overhead salaries, Christian and
Matthew have separated the company into provincial divisions, each
operating under the TruTech Pest Control Policies. In doing so, they
were able to streamline TruTech Pest Controls overhead costs enabling
them to provide their customers a higher level of service for a
competitively lower price than the large corporate pest control
companies. Christian and Matthew pride themselves in providing the best
experience and customer service in the industry, all while running a
lean streamlined company and passing those savings onto their most
important commodity - you the client.
