Dylan earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Alberta before earning his Juris Doctor at the University of Calgary. Having worked with our civil litigation team as a summer student, he now continues his legal training with a focus on Business Law, Civil Litigation, and Employment Law.

During his legal studies, Dylan gave back to the community by volunteering with Pro Bono Students Canada, producing podcasts on current legal issues, and advocating for student mental health and well-being.

A familiar face in a new role: congratulations to Kate Stone, DBB Law’s newest Student at Law!

Kate’s path to this role includes legal assistant experience and an LLB (Hons) from the University of Birmingham, where she received the award for Outstanding Contribution to Advocacy.

After law school, Kate returned to DBB and worked alongside Wendy E. Best, KC, while completing her NCA accreditation exams. She now continues her career with our Family Law and Civil Litigation teams.
