A friend came over for breakfast this morning and somehow we ended up talking about this black shelf.

For weeks, I was SO excited watching it fill up.

Every ear warmer I finished went onto that shelf until it was absolutely bursting at the seams.

And now?

It’s empty.

And somehow, I think I’m even more excited about that.

Stock for all FIVE stores is officially ready to go — made, tagged, packed up, and some already delivered.

It’s funny how a full shelf felt like such an accomplishment…

until I realized what an empty one meant.

It means I did it.

Sometimes you think you’re ready to slow down… and then something clicks and you’re like, NOPE. I’m not ready JUST yet!!! Lol.

Happy International Crochet Day!

Crochet is yarn everywhere, too many WIPs, mandalas on the walls, growing blankets, Yarnice’s endless wardrobe, and a yarn bunker that somehow still needs more yarn.

But beneath the chaos, crochet is my happy place: creating, slowing down, gifting, and occasionally buying eight skeins because they were 25% off.

Grab a skein, pick up a hook, and make something gorgeous.

I am BACK after my August break!

Things are back to full force around our house. My boy is back to school, our routine is back in full swing, and I’m officially back to work.

I have lots of exciting things to share for this fall and winter, and I can’t wait!

But first… a few little updates:

• I’m working on a restock for Main Street Market | Alberta Gift Shops 🇨🇦 Strathmore and will be heading up there on Monday!

• VERY important restock news — this will be THE LAST 2026 limited edition bo**ie drop of the year! I have my final 5 pairs of soles, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. I will not be ordering any more this year.

• Messy bun ear warmer season is JUST around the corner, and I am anxiously waiting to get those beauties back on the shelves. I’m hoping for October 1… fingers crossed!

August was lovely, but I’m ready to get back to it. I’m back and ready for a busy, chaotic, full-force-ahead fall and winter season!

The hooks are out, there is yarn all over my kitchen island, and I’m officially back at it!
