There’s something about steak at the centre of the table that sets the tone for the evening. At Fortuna’s Row, much of the menu is built around the idea of sharing. Steaks from the live-fire grill, plates passed back and forth, a bottle of wine opened for the table, and dinner allowed to take its time.

We’re deep into the next iteration of the Fortuna’s Row menu, where new dishes are cooked, adjusted, reconsidered, and occasionally sent back to the drawing board entirely.

Over the next little while, some of those ideas will make their way into the dining room as features. A chance for us to test what we’ve been working on, and for you to get an early taste of where the menu is headed.

Some will stay. Some will evolve. That’s part of the fun. Stay tuned, and keep an eye on the features.

Our Private Dining Room is made for engagement dinners, intimate weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and the kind of celebrations worth lingering over. Gather up to 20 around one table, close the doors, and settle in for an evening that feels a little removed from Calgary and a little closer to the heart of Latin America.

Join us during dinner service, or book the room during the day for something entirely your own. Either way, expect a table full of contemporary Latin American cooking, great wine, cocktails, and plenty worth sharing.

Behind the bar at Fortuna’s Row, we’ve collected spirits from across Latin America: agave, sugarcane and corn distillates, regional liqueurs, bitters and bottles that don’t always fit neatly into a category. Some are bright and grassy, others smoky, earthy, funky or wonderfully strange.

They give our bartenders a lot to play with, and help us make cocktails that feel distinctly ours. Latin-inspired, built with a sense of place, and hopefully a little different from what you drank last weekend.

At Fortuna’s Row, groups of up to 20 can gather around our Harvest Table in the main dining room, or settle into the Private Dining Room for something a little more intimate. The menus are built for sharing, the table is meant to fill up, and there is rarely any danger of leaving hungry.

Contemporary Latin American cooking, plenty of wine, and one of Calgary’s most distinctive rooms, right on the riverfront. Birthdays, celebrations, company dinners, or simply an excellent excuse to get everyone around the same table. Large group dinners are very much our thing. Book your next one with us.

Tapatía. A Paloma, reconsidered. Patrón Silver and yuzu sake meet grapefruit and lime, with St-Germain smoothing things out and ube bringing a little depth. Soursop soda finishes it off, force-carbonated for a crisp, persistent fizz.
