🛁 BERT’S POST-BATH GLOW UP 🛁

Freshly bathed and SO ridiculously soft. 😂❤️ And yes, Bert is still looking for his forever home!

This goofy MINI-Bull Terrier absolutely loves people and has no shortage of personality. He’s affectionate, silly, energetic, and very enthusiastic about basically everything life has to offer.

Bert does get a little too excited and overwhelmed around other animals and small children, so we’re looking for a home where he can be the one and only pet, with no young kids. He needs people who understand Bull Terriers and can give him the structure, exercise, and guidance he needs to thrive.

Meet Wesley, a 3-year-old Bull Terrier with plenty of drive, energy, and classic Bull Terrier personality. ❤️

Wesley is looking for an experienced home that understands the breed and wants an active companion. This guy loves to GO and would make an awesome hiking buddy for someone who enjoys getting outside and wants a four-legged adventure partner.

Wesley will need proper decompression time when entering his new home. He needs someone who understands that settling in takes time and who can provide patience, structure, consistency, and a chance to build trust at his own pace.

🏡 Wesley’s ideal home:

🐾 Bull Terrier experience is a MUST
🐾 No other animals
🐾 No children
🐾 Active home — he would love a hiking buddy!
🐾 Experience with high-drive dogs
🐾 Patient adopter who understands decompression
🐾 Continued force-free, positive-reinforcement training
🚫 No e-collars, prong collars, or other aversive training tools

At only 3 years old, Wesley has a whole lot of life and adventure ahead of him. He just needs the right person to share it with. 💙

🐾 MEET BERT — OUR NEWEST SOS/K2 INTAKE! 🐾

Please welcome Bert, an almost 2-year-old Bull Terrier currently in Nova Scotia. ❤️

Bert is currently being cared for by the wonderful Dogwood family at Dogwood Lodge Pet Retreat!! SOS/K2 and Dogwood will be working together while we get to know this handsome guy better and find him the home that’s right for him.

Bert is young, affectionate, energetic and full of that classic Bull Terrier personality. He loves his people, loves attention, is crate trained and enjoys getting out and being active.

Bert originally came into care after his excitement and energy around young children became too much for his previous home. We also know that busy environments with lots of dogs can be overwhelming for him, so we want to take our time and make sure his next home is the right one.

At this time, Bert is looking for:

🐾 An experienced dog home, ideally with Bull Terrier experience
🐾 No other dogs, cats or small animals
🐾 No young children
🐾 Someone comfortable with a strong, energetic young Bull Terrier
🐾 A patient home willing to give him time to decompress and settle in
🐾 Force-free, positive-reinforcement training only

Bert will remain safe and cared for at Dogwood Retreat in Nova Scotia while SOS/K2 and the Dogwood family work together on his next chapter.

Bert will be available for adoption through SOS/K2 Rescue. ❤️
