Fall Sewing Classes
I am excited to be setting up the class schedule! As always, if you would like to have lessons on days that aren’t listed, please contact me to see if we can set something up.
All supplies are included in the cost. Students may being their own sewing machine if they wish or use one of my many machines :)

NEW - students will have a mini lesson at the start of each lesson to learn basic skills. They will then be able to work on their individual projects. This will help reinforce the variety of skills they are learning in class.

Beginner Sewing aged 7 and up

Jewelry class
Students can make bracelets, earrings, necklaces or anklets using a huge variety of beads and techniques

There will also be free classes for experienced students to create heart pillows for the Foothills Cardiac Care Center. I was asked last year to see if I could create some for their patients and I asked my students. The response was overwhelmingly positive and so I will be continuing with the program this year. Date TBD.

Jewelry Class

Students will make a variety of pieces of jewelry. They may make earrings, wire bracelets or necklaces. They will be taught techniques and then may create whatever they would like.

There is a small class of three very enthusiastic sewing students. They worked on different activities this week and made a peasant blouse, a zippered pouch, and an axolotyl appliqué. A tiny doll quilt is in the works.
They are so creative and doing such great work!

I was thrilled to have been asked to create custom outfits for a gala Highland Dance performance. Some of my sewing students saw the works in progress and made simpler versions for themselves.
Other students were making a lovely stretch velour dress and a cotton skirt. More students saw those and used the same fabric to make a skirt and a stuffy.

It is lovely to see such a wonderful sewing connections being made!
