The business is based on the vision of the revolutionary future of the current gaming industry which is 3-D virtual reality. The business model is simple and uses an Oculus Rift headset - a device capable of portraying virtual reality in 3-D. Based on the scenario of being on a roller coaster, customers will be able to experience the future of virtual reality within two minutes by experiencing vertigo and a shift in balance as you ride in the roller coaster. In other words, the customer will feel like he is in a roller coaster. The reviews I have received so far from friends who have used the headset were “Really cool” and Feels very real” which is why I was interested in being able to provide this experience to Calgary Lilac Festival. Oculus Rift is a very popular tool used by gamers and was recently bought by Facebook. However, I believe this may be an experience that everyone would potentially enjoy, irrespective of age or gaming interests.
