Even when it is not the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, it is important to remember the history of residential schools in Canada.

MRU has installed a plaque for the Fallen Feathers memorial on campus, dedicated to victims and survivors of residential schools, as well as their families. It can be seen in the courtyard outside of the T-wing, and provides insight into the story behind the memorial.
