With unsustainable growth we need to focus immigration on Nurses, Doctors and the trades. We also need to ensure that our resources are efficiently spent on our residents.

Just as in an air travel, the crew lets us know that in case of an emergency to focus on putting our masks on ourselves first. Once we can breathe we can help others. Our citizens are overtaxed and we need to focus on affordability, health care and Education.

Question 10 is a different conversation altogether.

The chance to help Erin Averbukh win the UCP is quickly coming to an end. We are very concerned that we can lose the General Election to the NDP if Jeevan Mangat wins the nomination. The last thing we need is the former leader of the Wildrose Independence Party getting nominated and handing the seat right back to the NDP.

Our organization is not a party in the traditional sense, we are what is called an Election Third Party Advertiser (ETPA) See https://efpublic.elections.ab.ca/efETPAs.cfm?MID=TPAS_TE&TPATYPE=E

We are a small 'c' conservative organization that supports the conservative principles of less government, lower taxes and political accountability.

We find the platform of the UCP much more small business friendly and are thankful for the recent UCP tax cut on small business.

Any person can organize and participate in democracy as long as the rules are followed like we have.

Candidates are falsely stating that these signs are from the Mike Derry campaign and they are not.

We may favour Mike Derry as a candidate and that is our right as an organization to do so. We feel that the UCP is the clear choice for the small business community.

We find it interesting that you or other progressives did not call foul when the non registered CUPE has been actively campaigning for NDP candidate Kyle Campbell.

It seems to be ok for CUPE (who is not even following legislation) to support the candidate of their choice by spending thousands in radio ads, but when small business owners unite and place a few signs to try to steer voters to the candidate of our choice, that is unacceptable?

- Why has CUPE not registered as an ETPA as is required by the law?
- Did the members in CUPE vote to support Kyle Campbell. Are CUPE members aware aware that CUPE is spending their hard earned dues to support Kyle Campbell and the NDP?

CUPE is actively campaigning for the NDP and that is their right as well if they registered and legally campaigned.

As for our signs?

- Our total spend will be $1,000 to make our voices heard. Small business does not have a ton of money to support our candidate of choice. We can't compete with the CUPE money supporting Kyle Campbell.
- Our signs regarding vote splitting is a legitimate concern of our membership at all levels of government. Look at city hall as a prime example.
- Our signs regarding the NDP are in relation to how the NDP are job killers. No matter which province people originated, they fled to Alberta to escape the NDP with their extreme ideologies.

Small business matters and we are glad you are discussing our signs as it means are voices are being heard.

PS - As for Craig Chandler? Yes he is involved in our group and that is not a secret as it is very public see https://efpublic.elections.ab.ca/efPTPA.cfm?TPAID=112&MID=TPAS_TP Last time I checked people still have Freedom of Association in this country. Craig also took a leave of absence 6 months ago as he is busy with multiple campaigns.
