Dinner! Ivanna, our student from Peru, cooked a delicious chicken dish. And yes, there are potatoes underneath it! I contributed dessert: raccoon cake pops from Starbucks. 😂 No one shared with Marvin. 😢

Taisei Takeda 's family was supposed to arrive at noon to go off to Banff for a few days, but flight was 4-5 hours late...so we went for brunch at John's Breakfast insted, his first time. Then we decided we needed ice cream for dessert tonight, went to T&T market and then we made oden for dinner! A fun day eating and shopping. 😊

Had a fun evening with Sandi Hegland , Shannon Johnson and a bunch of students. Thought the band was better last time, but pretty good for the most part, and drinks price is awesome, $5!

For those of you who know Tomohiko Murase , his dad passed away yesterday in Japan. He'd probably appreciate a brief condolence message.He lost his mom in February of last year as well. Doesn't matter how old we are, it's always hard to lose your parents. 🤔 😢

Our heartfelt condolences to Richard and Shirley Rogess and family on the loss of their dearly loved daughter Debbie. There are no words to convey the depth of our sorrow in the loss of a child, no matter their age, they are forever our children and losing one is like losing a piece of our heart.

Welcome to a new Osaka girl, Rea Ozaki. She's going to study at Bayswater for a couple of months, then 2 years Early Childhood Education at BVC. She has already studied in Victoria previously for 5 months, maybe she prefers the weather there! She's staying with Sandi and Soxy Hegland.
