A beautiful evening of pause, reflection, and renewal.

Last week, we gathered for a peaceful crystal singing bowl meditation with Jessica Arnatt from Vibe High, creating space to slow down and reconnect with ourselves during the meaningful days between Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur.

This is a special time in the Jewish calendar for reflection, introspection, forgiveness, and preparing for the year ahead. Through the gentle sounds and vibrations of the singing bowls, we gave ourselves permission to pause from the busyness of everyday life and simply be present.

Thank you, Jessica, for guiding us through such a beautiful and calming experience. 💜✨

May we carry this sense of peace and reflection with us into the new year.

G'mar Chatimah Tova! May you be sealed for a good year!

The sound of the shofar is a powerful part of Yom Kippur — Day of Atonement. Its ancient call invites us to pause, look inward, reflect on the year that has passed, and think about how we want to show up in the year ahead.

For our entire JCC community, Yom Kippur offers a meaningful reminder that reflection, forgiveness, compassion, and new beginnings are values we can all embrace.

May this meaningful time bring moments of connection, renewal, and hope — and may we carry that spirit with us into the year ahead.

Please note the holiday building hours:
Sunday, September 20 | Early closure at 4:00pm
Monday, September 21 | CLOSED for Yom Kippur

Build confidence and move with purpose by mastering the foundational movement patterns—squat, hinge, lunge, push, pull, carry, and rotate—that underpin safe, effective strength training and everyday function.

Through clear guidance on proper posture and technique, you’ll learn how to move efficiently and with stability, helping you get more out of every workout while reducing the risk of injury.
