Alberta’s health‑care system has faced years of strain - from long ER waits to ambulance delays and difficulty finding a family doctor.

The Future of Health Care plan outlines a path to rebuild trust, strengthen the workforce, and better connect care across the province.

Alberta’s NDP commitments include shorter ER waits, guaranteed ambulance access, reduced surgical and diagnostic wait times, access to a family doctor or nurse practitioner, and one integrated Ministry of Health.
