I'm extremely personable with a no pressure personality always keep home buying/selling process enjo
The hardest lie to break when you’re building a career is that you have to give up your life to be successful.
For a long time, I bought into the idea that if I wasn’t available 24/7, I was failing. The pressure to always be “on” is heavy, especially in an industry that never seems to sleep.
But I had to stop and ask myself what I was actually sacrificing in the process.
On this episode of Coffee, Contracts, and Cockpits, I wanted to share a boundary that changed everything for me.
Sunday mornings are for church. Period. You won’t find me answering market calls or running around for open houses. Instead, you’ll find me right where I need to be: sitting with my family, or behind the sound board serving our community.
To a lot of people, completely shutting down for a the morning looks like a massive risk. But for me, it’s a non-negotiable act of faith. It’s my way of stepping back and saying, “I trust God’s provision more than my own frantic striving.”
My faith isn’t a side project, it’s the anchor for how I run my entire business. I’ve realized that my work doesn’t suffer when I prioritize what truly matters. In fact, it’s the only reason it stands on solid ground.
If you’re caught in the endless cycle of the hustle right now, this is your reminder that it’s okay to pause. The world won’t fall apart if you put your phone down to protect your peace.

It’s all fun and games until the giggles stop and you realize you’ve basically been doing high-intensity interval training with a sack of potatoes. My back has questions, but my heart is full.

Calgary’s inner-city and established rings present a fascinating architectural choice for buyers and sellers: the sleek, modern multi-story infill versus the timeless, wide-footprint classic bungalow.
This isn't just an aesthetic preference—it’s a major structural and financial decision. Each style interacts with lot lines, municipal utility infrastructure, and long-term land appreciation in completely different ways.
Swipe through for a strategic look at how these two distinct property types perform from an investment, structural, and lifestyle perspective.

“We fell in love with the property because of the beautiful, quiet open field directly behind the backyard.”
I hear this all the time from buyers exploring the edges of Calgary's growing quadrants. A peaceful, unobstructed view feels like a massive luxury on showing day.
But unless that open field is a permanently protected environmental reserve, it is a ticking clock.
Before you pay a location premium for a view, we look directly at the City of Calgary’s Area Structure Plan (ASP). That quiet field could be zoned for a major four-lane transit corridor, a commercial strip mall, or a high-density multi-family development scheduled to break ground in 24 months.
When you buy real estate, you aren’t just buying the home as it stands today—you are buying into the future map of that community. Having a real estate partner who digs into municipal zoning blueprints ensures your view, your privacy, and your resale value stay completely secure.
Thinking about making a strategic move? Let's look at the big picture together.

Forget the laundry. Once the sauce hits the skin, you just have to accept that your child is now a permanent part of the Tupperware collection. Scrubbing is futile.

We build, renovate, and customize our homes to fit our lives perfectly. But when it’s time to transition from home occupant to home seller, those highly customized layout decisions face the ultimate test on the Calgary real estate market.
An upgrade that feels like a luxury to you could feel like a renovation project to a prospective buyer trying to fit their family into the footprint.
Before you plant a sign on the lawn, you need a listing strategy that bridges the gap between unique custom character and mass market valuation. Swipe through to see how we evaluate custom footprints to ensure your equity stays completely protected when it’s time to sell.
I only drink one cup of coffee a day, so I try to take my time and make it a good one. ☕️
That slow morning start is usually the quiet before the storm. Between keeping up with a busy preschooler, sitting in the cockpit learning how to fly, and keeping client files completely locked down, every single day is a masterclass in staying focused.
For me, this business has never been about the loud hustle. It’s about being a student of the game, paying attention to the small details, and always being willing to learn something new so I can take better care of the people trusting me with their homes.
Hope you’re having a great week and getting a chance to enjoy your morning coffee.

Did you know that the ground beneath your feet changes dramatically depending on which Calgary quadrant you’re looking at?
Our city features highly varied soil geography. Some areas are dense with heavy clay, while others sit on highly porous gravel beds leftover from ancient river valleys. This matters immensely when it comes to foundation health and water management.
Heavy clay soil expands aggressively when wet and shrinks when dry, putting intense hydrostatic pressure on concrete foundation walls. Gravel, on the other hand, drains water incredibly fast but requires proper weeping tile systems to ensure moisture doesn't collect along your basement slab.
When you look at a property's exterior, you have to look at how the grading, downspouts, and soil structures interact. It’s exactly why local knowledge matters. If you want a comprehensive look at your next home from the ground up, let’s chat.
