Key qualifications include:
▶️ Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience
▶️ CPA designation (preferred)
▶️ 5+ years in a leadership or management role
▶️ 5+ years partnering with leadership on financial strategy
▶️ 10+ years of relevant industry experience
▶️ Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
▶️ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
▶️ Solid understanding of taxation, compliance, and business operations

Meet Chrys Thompson!

Born and raised in Calgary, with roots in Romania, Chrys Thompson has been a valued part of the Keywest team for over 12 years. As a Senior Process Drafter, Chrys supports our projects by developing and refining 2D drawings aligned with complex engineering scopes.

After exploring new career paths, Chrys pursued process piping drafting at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology—building a strong foundation in natural gas processing, plant design, and tools like AutoCAD.

What stands out most? The people. A supportive team, relaxed atmosphere, and strong work-life balance make Keywest a place where Chrys feels valued every day. Some of the most memorable moments include the many Keywest golf tournaments—great energy, great company, and plenty of fun.

Advice: Focus on a 5–10 year plan—build it, execute it, and adjust when needed.

Before heading out, ensure your Journey Management Plan is complete—route, check-ins, and ETA confirmed. Your vehicle is your lifeline: check fluids, tires, and recovery gear. Communication is critical—test your satellite phone or GPS messenger before leaving cell coverage.

If something goes wrong, stay with your vehicle. It’s your shelter and your best chance of being located quickly.
