Megan Hamilton is a well-equipped rocket in the electronic orbit: her mix of hypnotic bass, funky riffs and house grooves push the envelope with each track. As both a producer & vocalist with hip hop roots, she’s able to spin toplines atop beats at the flip of a technicolored hat.

Megan’s anything-goes approach to music lends her the ability to create a colorstorm of magic in her Denver studio. Her creative direction is heavily influenced by Opiuo, EDX, and Poldoore, and established labels Dirty Bird, Lowtemp, Buygore, Ghetto Funk & Audiophile have supported the trailblazing artist and her forward-thinking releases.

Megan has spread the good word of unapologetic and genre-defying music throughout North America, with performances at Lightning In a Bottle, Arise Festival, STS9’s Wavespell Festival, Canada’s Motion Notion Festival and many more. Her musical resumé is comprised of sharing stages with electronic heavyweights such as The Glitch Mob, Big Gigantic, Gramatik, CloZee and The Floozies. Similar to many of her peers today, Megan refuses to limit herself to one genre – so come without expectations. You’re guaranteed a party out of this world.

Today's the day! Technu Music music presents Concrete Dreams Block Party! Promoters performers and patrons loaded with a tonne of s-tier Calgary operators! Electric Love through the phone camera, enjoy a little recap video and some shots and sights that fed my soul over the weekend.

I saw so many friends and made many new ones. It was so nice to return to BC after years away and live out something that was a only a dream when I was a teenager last playing here. Playing a set comprised of music entirely produced, remixed and edited by yours truly for the first time was a terrifying yet wildly satisfying sacrifice of the voices of doubt that rustle in the mind. The acceptance of that who took part and some of the comments made left me on cloud 9 for the remainder of the fest. A lovely embrace.

So thankful to be a piece of this puzzle in what was a collection of wildly talented people. The staff from the gate inwards, the vendors, art installations, media and musicians all led by a collective of ladies driven by love l, passion and legacy of their dear friends has created something truly special in western Canada.

Gotta single a few of you out for help and hospitality to make the performer experience an all galaxy endeavor! Thank you so much.
