"Come for the hockey, stay for the people"

2 nights hotel (if needed)
New themed jersey to keep
Draft party
Being a part of a community. A family of incredible people from all over the world, who love hockey. Here is how a typical tourney would go if you can imagine. Step 1 - Get to the Draft Party on Friday
At the party the goalies will draw the name of their team out of a hat, in previous years it could have been Montreal or Boston or Detroit and so on. The goalies then do a "beverage" race, the order they finish it in is the order they draft in the first round. Step 2 - Get Drafted and Draft Your Teammates
Once you have been selected onto a team you get to do a "beverage" race with the other draftees who were in your round, the order you finish your "beverage" in is the order your team will draft in the next round
Step 3 - Boat Race for your Schedule
This one is pretty self explanatory, your team finishes first you get to pick the schedule for the rest of the tourney first! Step 4 - Enjoy the night and get ready to play 5 games over the next 2 days! Step 5 - Play 4 round robin games to determine which final you are in, A, B or C
Step 6 - Play for the honors on Sunday
Step 7 - Repeat all over again! So as part of the tournament we set up all the accommodations, the tournament and the party.

The best thing you’ll take home isn’t your jersey.
Although… the jerseys are pretty damn good.
You come for the hockey.
Then somewhere between the Draft Party, five games, post-game beers and a weekend with people you didn’t know on Friday, something happens.
They stop being strangers.
And suddenly you’re booking flights to another city just to do it all over again.
Different city. Different jersey. Different team.
Same Draft Family.
That’s the part that’s hard to explain until you’ve done one.
The hockey gets you here.
The people bring you back.
SHOW UP SOLO. LEAVE WITH A TEAM.

You can’t spell Champs without the A! The Grapes came into this one thinking maybe they would have rather played in the B to avoid the Apples who went undefeated through the round robin.
The Grapes never trailed once in this game. The Apples embraced being the villains to the rambunctious crowd and put pressure on the entire game. A late empty netter dashed their hopes of the comeback as the Grapes became the Penticton 2026 Champs!
Thanks to everyone who came out and made Penticton such a great tournament!

The B championship was one of the most exciting games of the weekend. Slick goals, amazing saves, back and forth scoring and a last minute tying goal.
It all led to an intense shootout where Kim sniped top shelf on The Hops first shot. It was a a goalie battle after that with The Hops winning 1-0 in the extra minutes! What a game, what a battle!
Whether it’s on the ice, on the bench, or in the locker room…random dance parties can always break out 🤣

The Bottles came out on fire trying to secure their first win of the tournament! Going up 1-0 and 2-1 before the Kegs found their rhythm.
The game was Barrels of Fun for both sides and the Bottles made a comeback and put pressure on the Kegs who held on for the win and the C Championship!
