Calgary Police Classic - Run Calgary The Calgary Police Classic is a fall road race that boasts a fast and flat half-marathon course, an 8 km race, and kids race.

The field is set for the 2026 Calgary Police Classic Kids Race! 🥳

Meet us at 6 pm in the Military Museums Courtyard if you'd like to join us for an easy 4 km shake out run/walk with members of our Pace Team. No registration is required!

Looking to save your legs? Stop by anytime between 6–8 pm to make a cheer sign. We will have free cheer sign making supplies, a prize wheel full of race-day essentials, and energy teas from our friends at Rviita ® | Energizing Iced Tea!

This event overlaps with our Package Pick-up hours, so you can conveniently pick up your race kit right before joining the shake out run!

For the first time in Calgary Police Classic history, we’ve surpassed 3,000 registered participants - breaking the previous record of 2,992 set back in 2008! 🎉

That means the 2026 Calgary Police Classic will have the largest field in the race’s 46-year history.

And because you can’t break a record from 2008 without looking back at it… swipe for a few photos from the last record-setting year. 👉

It was the pre-Instagram era. Race results were printed. Photos were a little grainier. A lot has changed since 2008, but the Calgary Police Classic tradition is still going strong.
