Thank you to Amani and Christina for leading our latest Journal Club and sharing an update on the PN Lab Terminology Project!
The project is focused on developing a shared terminology guide alongside people with lived experience of neurodiversity and caregivers, helping ensure the language used throughout our research is responsible, respectful, and accessible.
We’re looking forward to sharing more as the guide comes together!

Thank you, Scarlett, for leading our latest PN Lab Journal Club!
The topic connected closely with Scarlett’s work on BEYOND this summer and sparked an important conversation about how we can continue strengthening patient partnership within our own research.

Suzanne, one of our family research partners, has continued to expand her knowledge and expertise by completing 10 European Organisation for Rare Diseases (EURORDIS) Open Academy courses in French, English, and Spanish.
These courses help patient and family partners build a stronger understanding of scientific principles to support meaningful engagement in research.
We’re grateful for Suzanne’s ongoing commitment to learning and for the valuable perspectives she brings to our work as a family research partner.
Four years of PN Lab!
To celebrate, we wanted to hear from some of the people who help shape our work - each bringing a different perspective to research.
So we asked one question: What makes research meaningful?
Their answers are a pretty great reflection of what the last four years have been about: different perspectives, meaningful collaboration, and research shaped by the people it’s meant to serve.
Here’s to four years and everything still to come!
