THE club in Calgary for competitive and recreational tennis, Aforza (formerly The Tennis Academy) is a public indoor facility promoting tennis, supporting communities, and developing players since 1974. We’ve built a fun, family-friendly, welcoming environment for players of all ages. Aforza is all about people. We welcome players of all ages to enjoy the fun, recreational side of tennis, and we offer a variety of lessons, programs, and camps. Our pro shop provides stringing service, racquets, tennis clothing and shoes, and there’s great food available in our fully licensed lounge. Aforza is THE club in Calgary for competitive juniors, with excellent opportunities for tournament play. We’ve produced six national junior champions — more than any other club in Alberta — and we love tennis so much, we've hosted more than half the indoor tournaments in Calgary over the past 40 years! Formerly The Tennis Academy, our new name, Aforza, is jam packed full of meaning. It comes directly from the Italian word for strength — forza — and is also inspired by effervescence, which means vivacious, enthusiastic, and bubbly. Bubbly, of course, representing our iconic dome facility that is known as “the bubble”. The name is strong and sporty, but fun — just like us!

Get ready for our annual Doubles Club Champs event coming this October! 🎾🏆
Between a demo’s and wings night, exhibition matches, entertainment and a dinner party, you will have every reason to LOVE Doubles Club Champs! A combination of fun and competition, this event is a fan favorite at Aforza. Our winners and runner-ups of each division (men’s, women’s and mixed) will be awarded trophies!
All participants are guaranteed a minimum of three (3) matches. What are you waiting for? If you are 16+, looking to put it all on the court to win a trophy have your photo on our champion wall, and bragging rights, register today for this thrilling event!

Junior Padel Day was a blast! 🏓🤩
This past Saturday, we teamed up with Padel Alberta for an exciting day filled with padel, cotton candy, face tattoos, massages and plenty of smiles! It was wonderful to see so many new faces enjoying padel at our facility.
Want your child to join the fun? Aforza offers junior padel programs where young players can learn the game, develop their skills and make new friends. With its fast-paced, action-packed gameplay, it’s easy to see why kids are falling in love with this rapidly growing sport!
