Men’s mental health matters long before a man says he is struggling.

I’m , CEO at the , and I’ve seen how a cancer diagnosis can affect far more than the body. For many men, prostate cancer brings fear, uncertainty, changes in confidence, strain in relationships, and questions about identity that are hard to say out loud.

Too many men carry that alone.

Mental health support is not only for someone in crisis. It is for any man trying to process stress, grief, anxiety, change, or the weight of a diagnosis.

At the Prostate Cancer Centre, we’re seeing more men reach for support, and that matters. Every wellness check, every conversation, every caregiver or couple session is a reminder that men are willing to talk when the door is open.

That’s why I’m proud to support .ca and the campaign for Men’s Mental Health Month.
