LEAR provides Construction Management, Design-Bid-Build, Pre-Construction and General Contracting services. We offer our clients lean project teams and competitive fee schedules to ensure the financial success of their projects. LEAR is a member of the Alberta Construction Safety Association and has been an active member of the Partnership in Injury Reduction program since its inception. We manage our projects in accordance with the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, and our site safety standards are overseen by our corporate Construction Safety Officer. LEAR is an approved member of ContractorCheck and is therefore approved to provide Construction services to clients of ContractorCheck including some of the largest property management and development companies across the country. ContractorCheck is an independent third party Health & Safety Accreditation program for contractors who wish to supply their services to select real estate corporations in Canada. We are experienced in building to LEED standards and to Environment and Sustainable Resource Development guidelines. All our projects are brought to completion meeting Municipal, Provincial and manufacturer standards, and we are experienced in preparing Erosion and Sediment Control Plans and Environmental Construction Operations Plans for our sites, as well as Traffic Accommodation Strategy site plans. We are committed to supporting our industry and are heavily involved in community programs. With 40 years of general construction experience, LEAR is proud to offer our clients the extensive construction expertise of our staff, our trades and our suppliers in order to ensure the success of the projects.

This past weekend, we celebrated our annual Lear Holiday Party and took the chance to step away from the office, reconnect as a team, and enjoy some well-deserved fun!
From ugly Christmas sweaters to heated-up indoor golf, great food, and even better conversations, it was an evening filled with laughter and connection.
A huge thank you to all our incredible Lear team members who joined us. We appreciate everything you do and are grateful for the energy, dedication, and spirit you bring to Lear every day.

We’re incredibly proud to share the successful completion of the ASI Central Mixed-Use project in Kelowna, BC.
As our first development in the city, this project is a true reflection of what can be achieved through strong collaboration, dedication, and teamwork from start to finish. The building’s modern design and beautifully finished interiors bring fresh energy and renewed vibrancy to the community setting a new benchmark for mixed-use construction in the area.
This milestone would not have been possible without the collective effort of so many. To the Arlington Development Project Team, our Lear Project Team (Dan Morrissette, Fatme Atieh, Myk Detmers, Duane Tonn, Bryan Hagel), our trade partners, and all stakeholders involved thank you.

The Manning Aurora Composite School Replacement project has been a true highlight for us at Lear. Our team worked tirelessly every day to deliver an exceptional learning space — one that reflects the very best in 21st-century education design.
This project was made possible through strong partnerships with our client, the school board, and many dedicated stakeholders. Together, we brought a shared vision to life — creating a modern, inspiring environment that students can now proudly call their school.
As the halls fill with energy and students settle into their new classrooms, we’re excited to see how this institutional build will serve and strengthen the community for years to come.

The Lear Team came together for our annual Lear Golf Tournament — a day filled with fun, laughs, and a little friendly competition out on the course. ⛳️
While our team works incredibly hard day in and day out to deliver for our clients, events like this are just as important. They give us time to step off the jobsite, connect, and celebrate the people who make Lear what it is.
Connections made off the clock strengthen the collaboration, trust, and energy our team brings to every project. It’s these shared moments whether on the fairway or on the job that reflect the culture of teamwork and pride that defines Lear.

Lear Construction Management Ltd. is proud to share that we successfully delivered the Calgary New K-6/7-12 Complex in Calgary, Alberta.
Delivered under the Design-Build model, this project was the result of strong collaboration between our team, GGA-Architecture, Alberta Infrastructure, and the Conseil scolaire FrancoSud. Together, we navigated complex requirements, coordinated across disciplines, and ensured the project was completed to the highest standard.
Today, students and staff have already begun their school year in a modern learning environment designed to foster growth, connection, and community.

Joining our Site Operations team is Jean Moreno, our new Assistant Site Superintendent.Peter Smith has taken on the role of Site Superintendent for the PDD Residential Project, bringing his leadership to one of our key builds. Also in Project Operations, Sarah Butt and Qass Huffington have come on board as Project Coordinators to strengthen and support day-to-day planning and delivery.
We're excited to have them with us and look forward to seeing the contributions they'll bring to our team.

Progress continues on the Brooks Replacement School project. With the foundation complete, structural masonry and steel work are now well underway. With structural steel giving the skeleton of the building, steel stud and undergrounds are closing in on their start dates.
A big thank you to our dedicated team and trade partners whose collaboration and expertise continue to drive this project forward. We’re proud to be building a space that will serve the next generation of students for years to come.

Progress continues on the Acme Replacement School project. With civil services and slabs on grade now complete, interior room formation is well underway. The roof is nearing completion at 80%, and exterior work is picking up momentum.
A huge thank you to the project team and our trade partners for keeping things on track and driving this project forward. Exciting to see this school taking shape!

Demolition is complete, and we’re moving full steam ahead into early construction at the site. All shoring piles have now been successfully drilled and installed—credit to the seamless coordination of our two on-site rigs. Excavation and lagging work is progressing well, with anchor installation now underway as part of Stage 2 of shoring.
With the building permit, IFC drawings, and a partial Notice to Proceed in place, we’re nearly there. We’re currently awaiting the final Notice to Proceed from the City, which will pave the way for utility work to begin without delay. Exciting momentum building across the board!
