Playground Improvements Coming This August
Exciting news! 🎉 Playground improvements are coming this August to two neighbourhood playgrounds in Bankview!

These upgrades will help create even better spaces for families, neighbours, and kids to gather, play and connect. We can’t wait to see the improvements come to life and will share updates as work gets underway.

Have questions about The Daisy development?
The project team will be hosting a community open house on Wednesday, July 15, from 6–8 p.m. at the Bankview Community Hall.
The Daisy is a proposed 12-storey mixed-use building at 2502–2516 14A Street SW that includes not-for-profit office space, interpretive centre, cafe and a publicly accessible rooftop garden. Stop by to learn more about the proposal, ask questions and share your feedback.

We’re looking for a few enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event run smoothly. Here’s how you can pitch in:
Set-Up Help (2-Hour Shift, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM) Early birds welcome! Help us get everything in place before the fun kicks off. Your work sets the stage for a great afternoon.
BBQ Food Support (4-Hour Shift, 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM) Handling and serving food at the BBQ, keeping the food station clean, stocked, and running smoothly.
Clean-Up Help (1.5-Hour Shift, 3:30 PM - 5:00PM) Help us wrap things up and leave the space better than we found it.
