Malaysia's Taanusiya Chetty wins second runner-up at Miss World 2026

KUALA LUMPUR: Teacher and activist Taanusiya Chetty has been crowned the second runner-up at the 2026 Miss World pageant, which was held in Vietnam today.

The 26-year-old represented Malaysia in the 73rd edition of the pageant.

The iconic sapphire-studded crown went to Joheirry Mola of the Dominican Republic, who was crowned Miss World this year.

Elisabeth Reynes of Spain was named the first runner-up.

A total of 111 contestants from around the world took part in the pageant, which was held in Nha Trang.
